We run nights. Does the vehicle have to come in during the day?
The lane runs in working hours, so the test itself is a daytime job — there is no way round that. What we can do is take the vehicle at the start of the day and have it away again before the evening, or find the day in the week that costs you least. Tell us the pattern and we will work to it.
Do you test trailers and PSVs as well as units?
All three go through the same lane. A goods vehicle is priced on its axle count, a trailer on its own axle count and a PSV on its seating capacity, and the retest fee differs by class as well. If you are sending a mixed set of vehicles down from Coventry, list them when you book and we will order them so the drivers keep moving — and price every one of them before you commit.
