PSV and Coach MOT Testing in Bromsgrove
We test public service vehicles on the same DVSA authorised lane as our goods vehicles. A PSV is priced on its seating capacity rather than its axle count, and there is room on site to bring in a full-size coach without a difficult approach.
Priced on seats, not axles
A PSV test fee follows the seating capacity of the vehicle, which is why a minibus and a full-size coach are not the same test. Tell us the vehicle and the capacity and we will give you the figure up front.
We are on Aston Fields Industrial Estate, minutes from M5 Junction 5 and M42 Junction 1, on a working commercial vehicle site with room to manoeuvre a full-length coach.
Rectification without a second journey
Our workshop sits on the same site as the lane. If the test finds something, we can normally put it right and present the vehicle again inside the retest window, so a failure does not cost you a second day off the road.

How is a PSV MOT priced?
On the vehicle’s seating capacity rather than its axle count, which is how goods vehicles are priced. A minibus and a full-size coach are therefore different fees. Call 01527 870400 with the vehicle and capacity and we will tell you the exact cost.
Can you take a full-size coach on site?
Yes. We are a working commercial vehicle site on an industrial estate and test artics and drawbar outfits every day, so there is room to bring a full-length coach in and turn it round.
Do you carry out PSV safety inspections as well as the test?
Yes. We carry out preventative maintenance inspections to the interval on your operator licence and issue the completed records for every visit, for PSVs the same as for goods vehicles.
