HGV, Trailer and Coach MOTs for Worcester Fleets
Worcester is about fifteen miles from us and nearly all of it is motorway: M5 north out of the city to Junction 5, then a couple of minutes to Aston Fields. For a Worcester-based fleet the test slot is a straight motorway run rather than a cross-country trip, and the vehicle is back in the county town without the day being written off.

Why Worcester operators test with us
As the county town, Worcester puts a broader mix of vehicles on the road than the industrial estates around it — general haulage and tippers off the trading estates, welfare and refuse vehicles on municipal and contract duty, coaches and minibuses working out of the city. That mix is why we keep every class on the lane rather than specialising in one. Each class is priced on its own terms — a goods vehicle on its axle count, a trailer on its own axle count, a coach or minibus on its seating capacity — and the figure for yours is shown before anything is confirmed. Contract and municipal fleets in particular run to a fixed maintenance interval and cannot afford a vehicle to be off the road twice, so we book the annual test and any inspection work into the same visit and hand over the records before it leaves.
HGV MOT questions from Worcester
What is the route from Worcester?
Join the M5 northbound and come off at Junction 5. Aston Fields Industrial Estate is a few minutes from the junction at B60 3EX. It is about fifteen miles from the city, almost all of it motorway, so a loaded vehicle is not being dragged through villages to get here.
Do you test coaches and minibuses as well as lorries?
Yes. PSVs are tested on the same lane. A coach or minibus is priced on its seating capacity rather than its axle count, and a PSV retest is charged at its own rate again. If you run a mixed fleet of coaches and goods vehicles, both go through the same site rather than two — list what is coming when you ring 01527 870400 and you will have the figures for all of it up front.
Can the annual test and a safety inspection be done in one visit?
That is what we would suggest for a fleet travelling in from Worcester. The inspection is carried out to your O-licence interval, the test follows, and anything found is dealt with by the workshop next door. One journey up the M5 instead of two.
Will I get the paperwork for our compliance file?
Yes — every inspection we carry out is documented and the record is issued to you for the file DVSA expects you to keep. For a municipal or contract fleet, where the maintenance record is audited as a condition of the work, that paperwork matters as much as the test result.
